Invoice Like a Pro with FreshBooks

As a growing service based company we are always on the look out for software and tools that help streamline or process. Which is why we have to share our experience with this delightful online software that can do all of the following:

• Invoice clients
• Allow clients to pay via the following:
Credit or Debit Card, Bank Transfer, Paypal, Google Checkout as well as many other options
• Manage contractors
• Track hours
• Track Expenses
• Generate estimates
• Generate reports for internal use… and much more

Since starting our own company we have often found ourselves doing work that we didn’t bill for. This is because it was a bigger hassle to create and manage the invoices than it was to collect the $30 – $100 (which is nothing to sneeze at). Until the beginning of this year when we stumbled upon Fresh Books. We signed up for one year which costs roughly $215. So far it has been amazing, any time we want to invoice a client it is simple, painless and stores every invoice we create. We can set up recurring invoices and it will give you updates when it has been sent, viewed and ultimately paid. Also, it will give you the option to send invoices electronically through email or you can have them sent via snail mail (i.e. the post office).

As a Web and graphic design firm that prides our self on our appearance the forms do look a bit like a template, but still very professional and very efficient. Most importantly it saves us time and money so we can focus on what we do best. We would highly recommend this online service to anyone looking for a more streamlined, professional system that they can manage from anywhere in the world.

In addition to all the great features it offers there is still one last feature that is always an awesome way to incentivize people. They have an affiliate program! We love to recommend products we use and believe in (and a little kick back doesn’t hurt either).
