Cloud Commuting by Google Docs
Ever wish that you had the ability to work on documents with clients or co-workers from around the country in real time. Well… Thanks to Google Docs now you have access to create, share, and collaborate on documents from anywhere online. You can work on documents, spreadsheets, and drawings, designed to improve collaboration, increase speed, and create richer documents.
It has some really great features over the traditional word processors. Like its great collaborative capabilities. Google added a sidebar that allows users to see who is editing the doc at the same time. If you click the sidebar, you can chat with collaborators right next to the document. And when other editors make changes to the document, you can now view their edits as they happen letter-by-letter.
As of January 2010 the maximum file size is 1 GB. Now you can store just about any item in “the cloud” and access them from any computer – all you need is an Internet connection and a Google Account.
