How to Delete an Analytics Account?
We recently have been doing some house cleaning, updating files and what not and were trying to figure out how to delete old inactive Google Analytics accounts that we were the administrator for on behalf of our clients.
Having found out how to do this we would like to share the solution for any Analytics account you are the administrator for:
> First select the account from the “My Analytics Account” pulldown menu at the top of the page.
> Then click on ‘Edit Account Settings’ near the top of the page.
> Next, select the option Delete this account. (If your account is linked to an AdWords account then click on ‘Unlink AdWords account from Analytics’ and then delete the account.)
If you are unable to unlink the accounts, then you might have to ask the administrator of the account to unlink the accounts.
