There are many ways you can measure a website's effectiveness.
It can all be a bit daunting. So we take an approach that is custom to your web design project and select metrics that focus on your business objectives. We begin by planning out what you need the site to do, taking an end-to-end look at the website.
Together, we establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) so that we can be ready to measure how well we have achieved your goals and objectives. For many clients we're often helping to establish a baseline to measure against going forward. This is because it is only once we know how the site is performing (compared to the baseline) that we can take the ambiguity out of whether or not we made an improvement.
Once we have your end-to-end plan in place we want to make sure that your content is increasing the number of new visitors to your website. We can provide keyword research to target specific search terms and phrases that your audience is using to find your products or services.
Search keywords are an essential component of your site's content. When a user searches online for a particular keyword or keyphrase, search engines read all of the indexed sites to determine if your site is the right search result. When evaluating a site, search engines consider content, links, metadata, and clout (inbound links and reputation).
By optimizing specific pages for the appropriate keywords, we aim to increase site traffic organically. What we want to do is optimize specific pages of the site for a single, primary keyword/phrase that meets the following criteria:
Has relatively large search base
Has relatively low paid competition (We make exceptions for keywords which are highly relevant to the business, but may have high competition)
